1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Sono platform.

By using any of the services provided by the Sono platform, you agree to the terms of use. If you do not agree with these terms, we kindly ask you not to use the Sono service.

2. Changes to the Terms of Use

Changes to the Terms of Use can be made by publishing an updated version on the platform. In the event of significant changes, additional notice will be provided. Continued use of the platform after the changes have been made constitutes your agreement to the new terms.

3. Payment Process and Role of the Platform

Sono provides users with the opportunity to collaborate in areas such as arranging, mixing, mastering, and concert engineering. You agree that Sono acts solely as a platform for user interaction and is not a party to the agreements made between users.

3.1. Payments

All payments on the Sono platform are made exclusively through the Wayforpay payment system. To process transactions, users must accept the terms of this Operator. Sono is not an agent of the Operator and does not handle payments.

3.2. Payment Process

Once a client agrees to the terms of collaboration with a specialist, the specialist sends the client a payment link. After the client follows the link and confirms the transaction, the funds are held in reserve on the client’s account. This means that the amount required for the ordered service is reserved on the client’s bank card. While the balance on the card decreases, the actual withdrawal of funds does not happen immediately — the money remains on the account but is blocked for other operations.

The funds will be automatically debited from the client’s account once the specialist completes the work and the client confirms its completion. If the agreement is not fulfilled or the service is not provided, the reserved funds will be unblocked without any additional fees, and the client will regain access to the full amount in their account.

3.3. Sono Commission
Sono charges a commission of 25% for each order. The commission is automatically deducted from the amount to be paid to the specialist after the order is completed and does not require additional payments from the user.

4. Community Guidelines

Sono respects intellectual property rights and expects users of the platform to uphold the same standards. To ensure a quality experience for all users, several basic rules for using the platform have been established. Users are required to comply with these rules and encourage others to do the same. By using the platform, you agree to abide by these Community Guidelines (hereafter, “Community Guidelines”) and guarantee that:

(a) You will not upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any user content on the platform that:

  • Violates any copyrights, trademarks, rights of publicity, or other proprietary rights of any person or entity;

  • Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, violent, hateful, or contains discriminatory remarks;

  • Discloses confidential information about another person;

  • Targets the harassment or bullying of other users.

(b) You will comply with all applicable laws while using the platform and will not use it for any unlawful purposes.

(c) You will not use the platform to conduct market research for a competing business or to develop a competing product or service.

(d) You will not attempt to carry out transactions outside the platform if they were initiated through it. All transactions must be completed through the platform.

(e) You will not provide false or misleading information on the platform.

(f) You will not impersonate another person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

(g) You will not interfere with the platform’s operations through viruses, data scraping programs, or other harmful means, nor will you attempt to gain unauthorized access to any data, files, or passwords on the platform.

(i) You will not hide, block, or interfere with the display of any advertisements or security features on the platform.

(j) You will not bypass, remove, alter, or degrade any content protections on the platform, nor will you remove proprietary rights notices.

(k) You will not use automated means to access the platform without our written permission.

(l) You will not take actions that place excessive or disproportionately large loads on the platform’s technical infrastructure.

(m) You will conduct yourself and communicate professionally and respectfully with other users. Aggressive or inappropriate behavior and/or language will not be tolerated.

(n) You will not post personal contact information (yours or others’) on the platform unless requested by us. This includes, but is not limited to, email addresses, phone numbers, social media profiles, and similar data.

5. Use of Our Service

 

5.1. Rights You Grant Us

In exchange for the rights granted to you under these Terms of Use, unless otherwise agreed, you allow us to: (1) send you advertising and other information, and (2) allow our partners to do the same in accordance with applicable law.

5.2. Intellectual Property

The platform contains materials such as videos, photos, software, text, graphics, images, sound recordings, and other materials provided by or on behalf of Sono, including user content (collectively referred to as "Content"). The Content may belong to the platform or third parties. Unauthorized use of the Content may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may view the Content only for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use is only possible with prior written permission from Sono. Sono and its licensors retain all rights to the Content, including intellectual property rights. You must retain all notices (e.g., watermarks, etc.) about copyrights and other proprietary rights contained in the original Content. Selling, transferring, licensing, modifying, reproducing, publicly displaying, or performing the Content for public or commercial purposes is prohibited.

6. User Content and Projects


6.1. User Content

Sono has the right to use user content for advertising and promotion of the platform upon prior agreement. The user retains all rights to their content.

6.2. Feedback

All feedback, comments, suggestions, or other submissions may be used by the platform without restrictions, including for the development, production, and marketing of products and services based on them. All feedback may be used without compensation or mention of the author and is not confidential.

 

7. Third-Party Materials

The platform may contain links to third-party sites for user convenience. These links do not endorse the information on the specified sites. The content of external sites is created by third parties, and responsibility for its accuracy and content rests with those sites. Visiting external sites is at your own risk.

 

8. Term and Termination of the Terms of Use

These terms of use remain in effect until terminated by either party. The platform has the right to limit, suspend, or terminate the agreement and access to the platform at any time without prior notice or liability.
